The leaflets inside:

LONDON GREEN 2008
turning green ...
is now at forefront of every
nation’s agenda, a way of living
imperative in conserving our
planets natural resources and
in reducing the impact on our
already strained environment.
This means individually we must
all become aware of our
ecological footprint, challenge
our way of living and introduce
greener habits that collectively
create a better future for us
and future generations to come.

Large cities such as London
account for over 75% of the
world’s greenhouse gases and
London’s responsibility is to
lead others in taking action now.
As a pledge to make a change to
their lifestyles and embrace going
green, the London Green initiative
is an interactive and educational
dialogue with Londoners informing
them of vital facts and effects on
our environment. Ultimately, it
delivers an encouraging message
of how small changes individually
will help towards thegreater goal
of making our great city cleaner,
healthier and greener.

THE POLLUTED FUTURE

The shocking truth for all of us
is that time is running out.
Scientists have reached a consensus
that carbon dioxide emissions from
human activities are the major cause
of global warming, the next question is:
how can we stop it? can we just cut back
on carbon, or do we need to go cold turkey?
According to a new study by scientists,
halfway measures will not do the job.
To stabilize our planet’s climate, we
need to find ways to kick the carbon habit
altogether. if we do not - within 50 years
global warming will accelerate to the point
where the planet and its inhabitants will
literally suffocate.
